Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation is on!  

PPWR is on! 

And here are the main requirements for beauty industry:

1. Minimizing the presence of harmful chemicals (at every stage of the packaging life cycle)
2. Ensuring that packaging is fully recyclable (the exact requirements will be defined soon)
3. Using packaging with a minimum % of recycled content (35% for plastic packaging by 2030)
4. Minimising the weight and volume of packaging (no to empty spaces and excessive material consumption; from 2030)
5. Providing standardized, simple and understandable info on packaging composition = aka new eco-labeling rules (to make the sorting process much easier; from 12.08.2028)
6. QR codes are highly welcome to comply point 5
7. Saying a final bye-bye to the single-use cosmetic packaging for accommodation sector (from 2030)

It`s a lot!

And it means a big mess!

But beauty industry (and not only) requires changes.

And that`s our first step!
